“Site” denotes KJVTruthMusic.com and its editors. “You” denotes the signer of this agreement. The “work” refers to musical work you have submitted through the Site’s submission process.
By submitting your musical work to the Site, you waive any copyright, potential copyright, ownership, title, claim, etc. to the submitted work as intellectual property, including any notes, patterns, melodies, harmonies, rhythms, lyrics, titles, subtitles, and images—even if it is never published on the Site and even while review is pending.
You certify that the music, lyrics, and any other creative content being submitted are not the work of a third party, except in any of the following cases:
- Quotations from the King James Bible.
- A third party has granted you permission to waive its rights pertaining to the submitted work. Any such third parties must agree to the Legal Agreement of the Site.
- You prove that no copyright exists (for example, the tune is centuries old).
Anyone using the site may freely download, perform, record, modify, and make copies—physical or digital—ad infinitum, of any work that you submit to the Site.
Modified versions of your work may be published through the submission process without your permission—this agreement constitutes your permission. This agreement shall apply to any revised work that you submit to the Site. The Site will take reasonable steps to attribute authorship to the correct person, unless anonymity is requested.
You will not be compensated by the Site for your work unless a specific agreement is reached.
The Site is not responsible for claims of copyright infringement arising out of the submitted work. You will hold the Site harmless should lawsuits arise related to intellectual property. The Site will not claim any copyright to the submitted works.
